Products
I offer handmade items, sewn and crocheted, designed for family and home use. My goal is to create items using eco-friendly or natural materials, with sustainable practices in mind. My current products include non-toxic water-resistant children's aprons, wet bags, totes, and reusable housewares like cloth napkins and cleaning pads. My Etsy shop currently offers a small selection of aprons and wet bags.
In addition to my regularly stocked items, I do take some commissions (see section below).
My goal is to create easy care, machine washable items. The only exception to that at the moment are the wool hats; they are a wool blend and should hold up to a gentle cycle, but I strongly encourage hand-washing or spot cleaning them. I recommend line drying a majority of the products to extend their functional lifespan. The heat of a dryer can cause shrinkage, particularly to the linen and cotton based products. It can also cause the waterproof and water resistant items to lose their water repelling properties faster.
If you have any questions about the materials and fabrics I use, please feel free to contact me.
Commissions
I am accepting commissions for crib sized quilts and for children's clothing. Please send an email, or contact me via Etsy or Instagram with your ideas. I look forward to working together on a design, timeline, and to determine the cost!
Custom orders will require a deposit.
Shipping
I am typically able to ship within 1-2 days of an order being placed.
Pricing
Handmade items do cost more than mass produced items. Natural fibers, like quality wool and linen, also cost more than fast fashion fabrics. My prices are calculated based on the cost of materials and the amount of time it takes to create each item. All products for sale were handmade by either myself or my mom. In order for this to be a sustainable business, prices must reflect a fair wage. Rest assured it is money well spent, as your purchases of our durable products directly support our family.
